The Eduheal Foundation is a registered international NGO and also an educational partner of the Google Science Fair. With the belief that there is a winner in every student waiting to be discovered EHF has been successfully providing the platform to students where they can prove themselves and discover the hidden scientists and geniuses in them for the past decade. This year also EHF is conducting a science Olympiad with the motive to encourage the young minds to be the great scientists of tomorrow. The last date to register for the Science Olympiad is fast approaching so hurry up and register!
National interactive science Olympiad or NISO is a science competitive exam in which students from classes 1 to 12 can take part and test their skill sets. In today’s scientific and competitive world these qualitative and quantitative assessments are very crucial for aspiring talents.
On April 26, 2013, the first mentoring camp was conducted at National Science Centre, New Delhi. Top 100 students were selected from 1000 plus entries received from schools across India and were invited to present their projects to the panel of judges from IIT, Delhi. Projects by 15 finalists were highly innovative and were appreciated by everyone. Those included research on endangered species; a better understanding of tumors; an algorithm for safer encryption; a green method to clean water; a new kind of magnet and more.
There are no such criteria for participating in these exams. It is open to all students from classes 1 to 12. Students can register for these exams either individually or through their schools by clicking the below link:

The best part of these exams is students don’t have to study any extra syllabus. The syllabus is the same as their School Curriculum. And the cherry on the cake is that this helps them to excel in their academics as well. The questions are based on the application of the concepts learned that inculcate the analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities of students.
The syllabus is the same as the school curriculum but the questions are not theoretical but conceptual. It is important to learn but understanding the concept is what makes a student stand out from others. The in-depth knowledge of the topics and applying the same for problem-solving are the keys to success in these Olympiad exams. To ease the preparation process EHF provides the study material to students that helps them to sharpen their concepts and prepare well. Below is the link for the study material

It is rightly said that “Curiosity is the mother of every invention”. Nowadays students are very curious and their curiosity leads them to explore new things and learn new facts at a very early age. Science Olympiad gives these curious minds an opportunity to showcase their talent. Olympiads are highly analytical and encourage logical thinking that drives students toward the right career in the future.
In today’s competitive world, early exposure to competitions has become a need. It is very important for students to learn how to face their failures and tackle competitive pressure. Continuous participation in Olympiad exams makes them use to the competitions and also improves their skills.
